galaxy-chop is a Python code that tackles the dynamical decomposition problem by utilizing clustering techniques in phase space for stellar galactic components.

It runs in numerical N-body simulations populated with Semi-analytical models and full Hydrodynamical simulations, such as Illustris TNG.
